Before I became an aromatherapist, I had never even heard of Cedarwood (Juniperus virginiana) essential oil. It definitely was not on my “to buy” list. If you do not already own it, you should think about adding it to yours.
Cedarwood is one of my favorite essential oils. It is a great alternative to any eucalyptus recommendation for a child. Since eucalyptus contains 1,8 cineole, it is not recommend to be used on children under 10. This is my go to oil instead of peppermint or harsh eucalyptus on children.
