18 Ways to Raise your Vibration

Did you know your vibration says a lot about you? Did you even know you had a vibration? I realize this may be a little far out there for some of you, but bear with me please.

Everything has energy, vibration, or a life force vibrating at different frequencies. At the quantum level, even things that look solid, are made up of vibrational energy fields. This also includes you.

We can control what energy we are putting out into the world. Here’s an example, ever walk by someone who is crabby or having a bad day? You can feel the negativity radiating from them. Or, have you walked by someone who gives you the willies, making the hair on your neck stand up because you just know they are not a good person? Your intuition is telling you that their vibration is something you want to steer clear of.

I didn’t realize it was me who was sabotaging my life. I also didn’t realize that it was me and my mindset that was determining my future and happiness. This is something that is hard to talk about. Looking back, I can't believe this was me! Many years ago, my vibration was so low I could barely get out of bed. I was going through the motions each day to make sure my kids were alive, doing only the bare minimum. It was all I could do. I felt so depressed, I was on antidepressant after antidepressant trying to find one that would make me feel “better”. I felt totally and utterly stuck, with no idea how to move forward. I was filled with a whole lot of limiting beliefs that were truly holding me back. I seemed to be attracting people into my life who brought a lot of drama. Toxic people who made me feel anxious and even worse than I already did about myself. I lived this way for many, many years.

Fast forward to 2 years ago. I was very physically sick. I couldn’t eat, I had lost 20 pounds, all I wanted to do was sleep. If this was going to be my life, I didn’t think I wanted to live any more. I was turned on to crystals and crystal healing while waiting for test some results. I had a tumor in my liver and needed to have surgery to remove it. I knew I wanted to have crystals with me. The day of surgery rolls around, I knew it was going to be brutal because it was a minimum 5 day hospital stay. However, I wasn’t prepared to feel like I was hit by a mack truck. I looked like it too. The tumor was much larger than they had thought. The surgeon couldn’t remove it all of it since it would leave me with a liver that wasn’t big enough to support my body. I had lost a lot of blood but they didn’t want to give me a transfusion if they could help it. I looked like death, I felt like death.

Speaking of death… the combination of anesthesia and pain killers was too much for my body. It caused me to stop breathing. At one point, I remember a recovery room nurse asking me if I could feel them shaking me or tapping on my chest. No, I didn’t. But I could see them doing it. I could see them talking to me and telling me to breathe and to come back. It was so wonderfully peaceful and loving being above myself I didn’t want to go back. That place where my body was, was full of anxiety, fear, depression, pain and agony. Who would want that? Since it wasn’t my time, I needed to go back.

The next few months are a blur. Pieces of the surgery are coming back to me slowly as my intuition gets stronger and more open to what happened. After my surgery, my whole life changed. At the time, I felt so confused. I didn’t understand what was happening to me. With the help of the essential oils, I eliminated the depression medications I was taking. I felt better! How can that be?! I had been on depression medications for almost my entire adult life!

As I started to work more with the crystals and use my aromatherapy education, I began to raise my vibration! All the low vibe people were slowing starting to fade into the shadows because I just didn’t want to be around them anymore. Being their friend was way too much work. Being around them was draining and never any fun. Who wants to be around someone like that?! Not me! I used to be like that!

As my vibration rose, my health increased exponentially. I still get sick, when I do, it’s usually only 24-48 hours. How did this happen?! I CHANGED MY MINDSET! I stopped focusing on all the bad shit (excuse the vernacular) in life and started being happy for the things I had. I have my spirituality, family, my awesome husband, amazing children, house to live in, food to eat, clothes to wear and a career that has changed my life! What more could I ask for? Don’t get me wrong, I get angry and feel sad on occasion. Leave your clothes laying on the floor or don’t pick up after yourself, you are going to get an earful. But now, I don’t dwell on it. It isn’t all I think about, it doesn’t define me. Now, not only is my vibration higher, but I can maintain it.

Did you know.... your mindset determines everything? If you focus on the bad things but hope for the good, you are going to get the bad things, not the good. You aren't really focusing on the good, your mind is wrapped around all the bad that is going on. By focusing on the bad, over time you will lower your vibration. Lower vibration people will be attracted to you which will bring more and more drama. BREAK THE CYCLE! I know it's hard... Change. Is. Hard! I've been there, but there is hope. Change your mindset. When you are feeling bad or having a depressive thought, consciously make the decision to change it. Here are some ways you can change your vibration.

18 Ways to Raise your Vibration

  • Start Noticing Your Thoughts Everything you feel, say or even think, will become your reality. Big or small, every thought that comes into your head has an impact on you. When you change negative thoughts to positive, your reality is most likely going to become positive too.

  • Meditate Meditation doesn’t mean you need to sit and ohm it out. Meditation can consist of active things as well. Focus on your breathing, and relax. Go for a walk, run, garden, paint, or just sit and listen to a guided meditation. Do what works for you and go for it. Meditation will help calm your spirit and put you in a more peaceful state of mind. After 30 days of meditating for 10 minutes a day, lowered my resting heart rate by 7 beats per minute. It can change your life forever.

  • Be grateful Being grateful shifts your perception. It stops you from focusing on what you don't have, to what you do. There is so much to be grateful for each day. If you can’t find at least one thing every day, use this. You got to wake up and live that day, when someone else didn’t.

  • Practice Random Acts of Kindness Not much makes me feel better than helping someone who isn’t expecting it. Tell someone they have a nice smile, cute haircut, nice shirt, hold the door open for someone, whatever works for you. Not only does it make you feel good, but it will make them happy as well. Something simple that requires almost no effort, is going to raise your vibration and make you feel pretty awesome.

  • Appreciate Beauty There is so much beauty around us, however in our busy and crazy lives, we rarely take time to stop and smell the flowers. Literally. Our busy lives are our own doing, take a moment and just “be”.

  • Take Control of YOUR Life

Your past should not dictate the decisions you make today. You choose to be a victim. You choose to feel sorry for yourself, your circumstance, family upbringing, trauma, or anything considered “bad”. Consciously make choices that alter your path in life to raise your vibration.

  • Eat Nutrient Rich Foods What we consume says a lot about us. It is true, some foods vibrate at high frequencies, and some lower. Raw, fresh, unprocessed foods vibrate higher than fast food, which I doubt vibrates at all. lol . Consuming processed foods made of chemicals and covered in pesticides, will leave you vibrating lower. Start paying attention to what you eat and how you feel. Remember, garbage in, garbage out.

  • Drink water Most of your body is made of water, we lose a lot each day. To run in tip – top shape, we need to make sure we are drinking enough to avoid dehydration. Humans need to drink at least half an ounce of fluid per pound of body weight daily. The water will help flush toxicity which has an impact on our vibration.

  • Exercise It’s hard to be crabby or have a bad day with you have endorphins going through your body. You don’t need to join a gym to exercise, talk a walk around the block. If you have a dog, bring them with, they would love it. Play tag with your kids, swim, dance, just get moving.

  • Laugh

Ever hear the saying “laughter is the best medicine?”. That’s because it is. Laughing has been known to reduce stress, tension, anxiety, blood pressure and improve your health. Laugh, even at nothing, just laugh. Laugh at yourself, if you can’t laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? This will change your perspective, raising your vibration.

  • Be Creative

This could mean coloring, listening to music, painting, gardening, anything that gets you out of your mind and focusing on something positive. Your creativity could also be a considered form of active meditation. Using both sides of your brain will also help raise your vibration.

  • Surround yourself with Positive People

Your vibration raises or lowers due to the strongest energy around you. If the vibration of someone is higher, your vibrational frequency goes up. Lower, then your vibration goes down. Surround yourself with people that pull you up, not down. Sometimes when I am feeling down, all I need to do is call a friend, just hearing their voice may be enough to bring you out of my slump.

  • Remove Clutter

It seems clutter is the root of all evil. Lol Just kidding, kind of. If you have a lot of clutter in your space, it can be very draining on your energy. Clutter gives me anxiety, I can’t stand being in a home that is messy or has stuff all over the place. By getting rid of things that you don’t need or us, it frees up your space and mind. That, in turn can raise your vibration.

  • Touch

Humans need to be touched. Give a hug, or get a hug from someone you love. It will raise your vibration just from the physical contact. Especially if they vibrate high, you may physically feel their energy being that close.

  • Connect with an Animal

Animals, especially dogs can exude love. Pet a dog or cat, it’s hard to have a bad day when you are stroking the fur of a beloved pet. They love you unconditionally and just want to be with you for no other reason than they want to be with you. This will destress you and raise your vibration.

  • Use Essential Oils

Plants are no different than other living things, they have their own energy. When the essence of the plant is removed and bottled as an essential oil, you can harness the energy that plant had. Some essential oils are grounding, whiles other are uplifting. Depending on what your need is, will dictate what oils you would use on any given day. By changing how you are feeling, it will help to raise your vibration.

  • Have a Reiki Session

Reiki is channeling of Universal Energy. During a Reiki session, the receiver will have the energetic debris removed to help balance the chakras. As Reiki helps us release what no longer serves us, we can raise our vibrations.

  • Keep Crystals with You

Some crystals are known to help with physical issues as well as emotional ones too. I love working with crystals because of their strong and stable vibrations. They came in various frequencies and working with high vibe crystals is a great way to raise your own frequency. Remember, everything that comes into our energy field affects our vibration, we tend to match our vibration to the things around us. Choose stones that you are drawn to and make you feel good.

These things will help raise your vibration. Higher vibrational people are happier, stay healthier, and attract better things. The law of physics.... everyone has a bad day here and there or even a couple. It doesn't mean you need to stay stuck. Change it! You are the only one in control of your destiny! Are you wasting it stuck in a downward spiral?! This works..... I know, I used to be addicted to drama. Now, I run far and fast from it.
